It is the third time in four years that my family and I have travelled the 280 odd miles down to Dawlish Warren. All I can say is, I can't wait to do the trip again. What a fantastic holiday. The site was great, the entertainment superb and the whole area is just brilliant. So thank you to everyone at the Welcome family holiday park. From Malcolm Dickinson and family, Burnley in Lancashire. Mr D, Burnley, Lancashire 14 September 2010

I would definitely recommend this holiday. The caravan was very spacious and although one of the older ones as we had a dog, it was very comfortable. The facilities on the campsite were excellent, the entertainment in the club was the best I've seen. The location too was excellent as it was a short walk to the beach, takeaways etc. Mrs C, Rochester, Kent 20 July 2010

Great holiday park in a good location. On-park entertainment great. Park just a short walk to the beach and also to few local pubs. Mr P, Doncaster, South Yorkshire 06 June 2010
Such a relaxed atmosphere and it's a place where we could chill out properly and not have to worry about a thing. Miss R, CARDIFF, Cardiff 18 May 2010
It was great, no improvements needed. Miss C, TAMWORTH, Staffordshire 17 May 2010
I would definitely recommend this holiday park to anyone with a family. The park was clean, quiet and safe. The caravans (even the cheapest option - Moonlight- which we had) was very roomy and easily fit 2 adults and 3 children in, and the entertainment was fantastic, they gave it their all whether there was 10 people in the audience or 200. The Dr Who show they did was fantastic too and was the highlight of my eldest 2 children's holiday. Can't wait until we can afford to go back! Mrs T, CHARD, Somerset 02 May 2010
The camp was very good, plenty to do and in great surroundings. Mr R, Braintree, Essex 26 April 2010
Nice location, no hills on camp which is good for mobility. Buses nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Mr D, Bath, Avon 26 April 2010
Have holidayed here for many years, always with the same superb accommodation, entertainment and value for money. Mr M, SWADLINCOTE 21 April 2010
I have been going to the Welcome Family Holiday Park for 20 years now and myself my husband and children absolutely love it there, we know all the Bluecoats and meet up with friends that we met on the site over the years. It is like a little family down there and I would recommend it to others definitely . Mrs B, BRISTOL, AVON 21 April 2010

I think it is great value for money, entertainment is excellent with brilliant shows from the entertainments team. A very good family park, well catered for for all ages. An ideal location just a short walk from the beach and arcades. Have been there 3 times now and we are already in the process of wanting to book again. Miss D, FARNBOROUGH, Hampshire 29 September 2009
The entertainment at Welcome Holiday Park in Dawlish Warren is absolutely first class, what a crew!! Can't wait to come back next year.
Mr W, PORTSMOUTH 07 September 2009
One of the best parks we have ever visited for club entertainment. The team did a brilliant job throughout the week at keeping all the family entertained when we wanted it, with good all round options which were both entertaining and fun! Mrs L, COLEFORD 15 August 2009
Just a short walk to a lovely clean sandy beach, easy access to medical advice, (only had to wait 30 minutes to see the local doctor), a lovely welcome from main reception on arrival and clear instructions to locate facilites. Miss T, EMSWORTH, Hampshire 09 August 2009
The park was very tidy and the caravan was spotless. We had a great time and will definitely book again next year! Mr H, BEVERLEY, North Humberside 09 August 2009
The experience of my holiday was very good, hence why I have been back to the park for 5 years and will go back again next year! Mrs. W, Aberdare, Mid-Glamorgan 27 July 2009
Entertainment brilliant, for both children and adults. The bluecoats were hilarious, entertaining and looked liked they really enjoyed their job!!! Mr G, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire 21 July 2009
When we first arrived at the site the rain was torrential. However we could not park next to the caravan & the nearest car park spot was 150 yards away. The staff helped us unpack our cars with a tiny trolley but all our luggage still got soggy. If car parking was such an issue we would have liked to know about it first & we could have packed accordingly. The site was not really set up for these conditions Mr W, NANTWICH 19 July 2009
I have already recommended this park to all family and friends and have got family going there this summer on our recommendation. Mr L, Hinckley 17 July 2009
I found the reception staff very helpful on arrival, the entertainment was extremely good, the pool was excellent and there was always plenty of room in the bar/entertainment lounge, even though the park seemed busy. We did not use the childrens club but we heard that that too was a total enjoyable time for children and parents - I will highly recommend it to friends and family. Mr P, SHIPSTON-ON-STOUR 16 July 2009
Very friendly people - both guests and staff on site, and local people off site. There is always something to do for children if you do not want to venture off site and there is plenty to do in the area. A central location and good road and rail connections to other attractions. Mr C, Abbey, Galway 15 July 2009
The park is situated close to the trainline and bus route to get around Devon. Free use of swimming pool good for children and adults. Miss S, WHITEHAVEN, Cumbria 13 July 2009
This park is very good for both families and people just wanting to get away. The parks location is very good for beach access, and also for those wishing to bring their dog as the area caters for pets. It has easy access for visiting other areas both using the car and public transport. Mr H, RUGBY 11 July 2009
The evening entertainment wasfantastic for children - ours aged 3 and 6 loved it! Mrs N, BLACKBURN 10 July 2009
You can't want a better service, it is truly value for money and the entertainment is second to none. Why spend hundreds of pounds on a foreign holiday and get wishy washy entertainment when we have the best here on our doorstep! Mrs A, Reading, Berkshire 07 July 2009
Great pool, great accommodation and friendly staff. Mr H, GOOLE, North Humberside 04 July 2009
A clean and safe park, and even though dogs are allowed on site there is no mess. The facilities and staff are great - a perfect holiday for adults and children alike where even the family dog is catered for and welcomed. We will certainly be going again as we loved every minute of our time there! Mr W, WISBECH 04 July 2009
The caravan was spacious and all the staff were most helpful. Mr A, Eye, Suffolk 03 July 2009

The park is a fantastic break for families of all ages, with lots of fun activities, beautiful scenery, and with the beach only 15 minutes walk it is the ideal location. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Devon. Mr E, CHIGWELL 26 June 2009
I would not recommend this holiday to parents with young children. Apart from half an hour every morning there is nothing for them to do Mr D, CAMBERLEY 14 June 2009
Welcome Family was the best location wise, cleanliness wise and had the best swimming pool and outside play park facilities I have ever seen on any caravan park I've ever been to. The accommodation was spacious, clean and had all the things we could need in a caravan including a fridge freezer - a first in over 10 years of caravaning for a cheaper caravan. We couldn't be happier with this park and are already planning next years break at the same park! Mrs D, Wakefield, West Yorkshire 09 June 2009
There are lots of activities throughout the day and the evening entertainment was also very good. The park is just a short walk from the beach which is lovely. Mrs V, St. Helens, Merseyside 08 June 2009

I tought the location was good. The park was beautiful and gave a feeling of being abroad (like Spain) rather than in England. The service was great and will definitely be back next year. Mr P, Swindon, Wiltshire 20 September 2008

Considering the weather was dreadful the on-site facilities & entertainment were excellent. Mr G, Kidderminster, Worcestershire 16 August 2008
The site is clean and well maintained. There is a happy ambience about the place and there is something for everyone, Young and Old(er). When the sun shines (not in the summer!) you cannot ask for a better setting which is very safe. Whether you spend your time on the site or explore some of the picturesque villages nearby you won't find a more relaxing place to allow you to do as little or as much as you like without breaking the bank. Mr B, London 28 June 2008
Ggreat all round holiday - been at least ten years on the trot. Mrs M, Newport, Gwent 21 June 2008

I would recommend the park if you have a young family. The facilties are wonderful for children which include a park, 2 pools, and a childrens club in the evening. For adults there is night time entertainment and bingo in the park club with a bar. The beach is a 5 minute walk away and the town is a 5 minute bus ride/drive which has all the amenities that you need, for shopping or tourist presents etc. Exeter city is a 10 minute drive with an extravagant amount of shops and culture including the cathedral which is a must see!
